(I'll add more to these as I tear it down)

A perfect day to get an engine - "Warm, Sunny day (in Enfield Ct.) & everyone is smiling....."

What did you expect? It was almost 50 degrees JANUARY after all!!!! 3+ hrs up from Jersey to friend's house in Ct. then 45 minutes to engine in Mass. FOG ALL THE WAY UP & BACK....

The organ - I mean engine donor car - Best description:  "Mary Kay Cosmetics PINK"     98 - 102 HP

He took off the Bell Housing.....*$#%@**        No, we did not lift it by that chain, we manhandled it into the truck....

Yes, that's a 94 Ranger on Steroids. My son put a lot of TLC into it, then found out he needed something with a back seat to hold a baby seat for our soon to be grandson....... He's gaining a son, losing a truck & I get a second childhood romping the pedal & driving stick....... He took off the 35's but left the lift kit. Bit of a climb up in but lots of fun!

Gee it's leaking oil, or goo, or some kind of black syrup..... better get a rag while I strap it down...... wouldn't leak if it had a bell housing on it.

Lots of possibilities..... & a few problems, like 90 wt oil in the crankcase...... or does it just get thicker as it ages?

An almost complete engine - NO WATER!!!!

Engine cleanup progressing, will post pics soon.
